Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between the independent variables organizational socialization, external career, and internal career towards the dependent variable turnover intention. Also ecplained in this research is that understanding socialization organization is an independent variable tht affects external and internal career and will be directly related to turnover intention on employees. Understanding is an important factor for employees to hold on to their jobs because by knowing the organization employees can understand their aspiration as well as their duties and rights towards the company. Employees will also be more loyal to their company because they feel recognized for their existence in the company. A number of employees from several private companies working in manufacturing industry are set as the population for this research. The samples were selected using non-probability sampling by convenience sampling. Data are collected through the distribution of questionnaire to 125 respondents that ranges from non-managerial to managerial level. Data are analyzed using pathed analysis by simple regression and multiple regression. The findings of the research show that there is a relation between organizational socialization and turnover intention. It also shows that internal and external career and internal career do not directly affect organizational socialization. Moreover, it is indicated that the variable organizational socialization, independent external career and internal career affect the dependent variable turnover intention.
