Abstract

Analisis Pengaruh Struktur Modal Terhadap Nilai Perusahaan di Bursa Efek Indonesia dan Thailand Stock Exchange Firm value could be defined as investor perception toward company which often seen as stock market value. Derived from this perception, many company seek solutions to increase their stock market value as a real effort to enforce their firm value. Looking at those theories, this research was taken out, in order to develop further study and theory related with firm value enforcement. The aim of this research is analyzing 9 factors which affecting firm value, those factors are firm size, profitability, public ownership, capital structure, dividend payout, efficiency, growth rate, liquidity and business risk. Data used in this research is companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange and Thailand Stock Exchange in period of 2005 until 2010. Using purposive sampling method, samples that meet the requirements are 53 firms or 318 observation data in Indonesia Stock Exchange and 195 firms or 1170 observation data in Thailand Stock Exchange. The result in Indonesia show that firm size, profitability, capital structure, dividend payout and liquidity have a significant effect on firm value. The result in Thailand show that profitability, public ownership, efficiency, and liquidity have a significant effect on firm value.
