Abstract

Dyslexia is learning difficulty caused by minimal dysfunction of the central nervous system in the brain, that affects habit of reading and mistaking in recognizing and understanding a word. Orton-Gillingham Approach is an approach that explicitly help Dyslexic Children a language fundamental and utilizing it with Children’s multi-sensory. In this study, we will design and develop an application to help improving Dyslexic Childrens using Orton-Gillingham Approach in iOS environment utilizing tablet pc technology. We will apply Challenge Based Learning method and Swift Programing Language to develop the application. The result is released publicly. Effectiveness of the application need further study to validate. Keywords: Information System, Dyslexia, iPad, Orton-Gillingham Approach and Education.
