Abstract

Penelitian ini berkaitan tentang perubahan kinerja pegawai hotel berbintang di Batam. Beberapa variabel independen diuji dampak dan hubungannya dengan kinerja sebagai variabel dependen. Saat sedang menurunnya jumlah hunian pada hotel dibutuhkan kinerja dan dedikasi yang tinggi dari karyaawan agar perusahaan tetap dapat bersaing dan memberikan kepuasan pada tamu pengunjung. Pengujian ini dumlai dengan mengirimkan kuesioner yang berisi pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan variabel pengujian pada pegawai hotel di Batam. Hasil respon atas kuesioner tersebut kemudian direkap untuk pengujian data. Hasil uji data disampaikan dalam bentuk table dan gambar berikut penjelasan masing-masing. Hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa semua hipotesis dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil uji data dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil uji ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi perubahan kinerja pegawai hotel dan kemajuan pariwisata di Batam.--------This study deals with improving the performance of employees of four-star hotels in Batam. Several independent variables were tested for influence and its relationship with performance as the dependent variable. When the decreasing number of occupancy in hotels requires high performance and dedication from employees so that the company can still compete and provide satisfaction to visitors. This research was supplied by sending a questionnaire containing questions relating to the research variables on hotel employees in Batam. The results of responses to the questionnaire are then recapitulated for data testing. The results of the test data are presented in the form of a table and a picture following each explanation. The results of the study prove that all hypotheses can be proven by the results of data tests using SPSS. The test results are expected to provide benefits for improving the performance of hotel employees and the advancement of tourism in Batam.
