Abstract
Wisata medis muncul sebagai sebuah area studi yang menarik bagi peneliti dan hal baru bagi para wisatawan untuk melakukan perjalanan lintas batas internasional untuk mencari layanan medis. Ini telah mengintensifkan persaingan industri medis di antara negara-negara. Peneliti mengambil Malaysia sebagai Negara tujuan wisata dan objek penelitian ini dikarenakan reputasi tinggi antara wisatawan medis, harga yang terjangkau, lokasi yang strategis dan tenaga kesehatan yang memadai menurut data yang tersedia dan penelitian terdahulu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei dan penyebaran kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 307 responden wisatawan medis yang berlokasi di Kota Batam. Pengujian data dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kualitas layanan medis, nilai yang dirasakan dan teknologi informasi kesehatan memiliki hubungan positif dengan kepuasan dan menunjukkan pengaruh terkuat. Selanjutnya, kepuasan pasien berhubungan positif dengan niat mengunjungi kembali untuk layanan medis.---Medical tourism is emerging as an attractive area study for researcher and a novelty for tourists to travel across international borders in search of medical services. This has intensified medical industry competition among countries. Researcher chose Malaysia as a tourist destination and the object of this research because of its high reputation among medical tourists, affordable prices, strategic location and adequate health personnel according to available data and previous research. The data technique was carried out by surveying and distributing questionnaires to 307 medical tourist respondents located in Batam City. Data testing used SPSS version 20. The results showed that the variables of medical service quality, perceived value and health information technology have a positive relationship with satisfaction and shows the strongest influence. Furthermore, patient satisfaction was positively associated with returning visits for medical services.
