Abstract
Travelodge Batam merupakan city hotel berbintang empat di Batam, yang memiliki restoran, bar dan room service. Kegiatan administrasi Food and Beverage sangat penting guna menunjang kelancaran operasional seperti administrasi dokumen untuk permintaan barang di gudang utama, dokumen pembelian barang, pemesanan bahan makanan untuk operasional kitchen dan pastry, laporan food and beverage cost, serta berbagai laporan yang harus dilaporkan kepada departemen lainnya. Penulisan laporan kerja praktek ini bertujuan sebagai gambaran umum bagaimana tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai Trainee Food and Beverage Admin pada departemen Food and Beverage di Hotel Travelodge Batam. Kegiatan Kerja Praktek dilakukan selama periode 01 Februari 2018 s.d. 31 Juli 2018.Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kerja praktek ini adalah observasi atau pengamatan secara langsung terhadap aktivitas staf dan wawancara terhadap staf-staf yang bersangkutan. Kerja Praktek ini menghasilkan dasar-dasar ilmu untuk penulis di departemen Food and Beverage mengenai hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan administrasi Food and Beverage bersangkutan dengan kitchen, pastry, bar, room service dan restoran. ********************************************************************** Travelodge Batam is a four-star city hotel in Batam, which has a restaurant, bar and room service. Food and Beverage administration activities are very important to support operational smoothness such as document administration for store request, purchase request, market list for kitchen and pastry, food and beverage cost reports, and various reports that must be reported to other departments. The purpose of this internship report is intended as a general description of how the duties and responsibilities are as Trainee Food and Beverage Admin in the Food and Beverage department at the Travelodge Batam Hotel. The internship carried out during the period of February 1st, 2018 until July 31st, 2018. The method used in the implementation of this internship is direct observation of staff activities and interviews with the staff. This internship produces the basics of knowledge for writers in the Food and Beverage department regarding matters relating to Food and Beverage administration concerned with kitchen, pastry, bars, room service and restaurants.
