Abstract

Pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan keuangan yang baik melalui pencatatan pada sebuah unit usaha terutama UMKM sangat diperlukan. Selain untuk pengambilan keputusan, pengelolaan keuangan yang baik juga berpengaruh terhadap kelangsungan usaha tersebut. Masih minimnya UMKM yang menjalankan praktik akuntansi dengan benar menjadi latar belakang pelaksana kerja praktik ini untuk melakukan proyek dengan tujuan untuk memperbaiki sistem akuntansi pada toko Andi Jaya Petshop. Dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung serta wawancara terhadap bapak Sutrisno selaku pemilik usaha didapatkan permasalahan usaha mengenai pengelolaan keuangan yang tidak efektif dan efisien dikarenakan masih mengaplikasikan sistem pencatatan manual yang belum tersistem. Untuk menjawab masalah itu maka penulis melakukan perancangan pencatatan akuntansi yang tersistem dengan menggunakan program aplikasi Microsoft office access sebagai medianya perancangannya. Melalui proses implementasi hasil kerja, proses pengelolaan keuangan pada Andi Jaya Petshop menjadi lebih baik dengan sistem aplikasi yang diaplikasikan tempat usaha untuk mencatat transaksi sehari-hari. Hasil ini juga sekaligus menunjukan bahwa sistem pencatatan yang baik dan tepat dapat menunjang keefektifan serta kinerja temat usaha yang mengaplikasikannya. ********************************************************************** Knowledge of good financial management through recording in a business unit, especially MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) is very much needed. In addition to decision making, good financial management also influences the business continuity. The still small number of MSMEs that carry out accounting practices correctly is the background of those implementing this practical work to carry out projects with the purpose of improving the accounting system at Andi Jaya Petshop stores. By making direct observations and interviews with Mr. Sutrisno as the business owner, there are business problems regarding ineffective and efficient financial management because they are still using manual systems that have not been systemized. To answer that problem, the authors made a systematic accounting record design using the Microsoft office access application program as the design medium Through the process of implementing work results, the financial management process at Andi Jaya Petshop is better with an application system that is applied to the place of business to enter daily transactions. This result also shows that a good and right recording system can support the effectiveness and performance of the business place that applies it
