Abstract

PT. Prima Batam Sentosa adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang jasa alat berat. Sistem dalam pencatatan keuangan PT. Prima Batam Sentosa masih bersifat sederhana. Laporan keuangan yang sederhana menjadi kendala bagi PT. Prima Batam Sentosa dalam membuat keputusan akan usaha yang sedang berjalan maupun untuk keadaaan kedepannya. Penelitian ini memiliki fungsi untuk membuat sistem pencatatan akuntansi sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari PT. Prima Batam Sentosa. Pembuatan sistem pencatatan keuangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Microsoft Office Access 2010. Proses awal dalam penelitian ini adalah pencarian serta pemilihan tempat kerja praktek dan memilih judul untuk laporan kerja praktek. Pada proses selanjutnya, penulis melakukan observasi dan wawancara untuk memperoleh data tentang latar belakang usaha, kegiatan dalam menjalankan usaha serta masalah yang terdapat dalam usaha. Kemudian akan dilakukan penerapan sistem yang dirancang pada PT. Prima Batam Sentosa Sistem yang dibuat di implementasikan ke PT. Prima Batam Sentosa. Hasil dari implementasi tersebut yaitu mendapatkan proses laporan keuangan telah memenuhi standar yang berlaku dan laporan tersebut dapat menjadi bahan untuk pengambilan keputusan. Saran pada PT. Prima Batam Sentosa adalah sebaiknya tetap memakai sistem pencatatan yang dibuat agar hasil dari laporan keuangan lebih baik dan akurat. Catatan bagi penelitian selanjutnya yaitu untuk menambah cara perhitungan pajak. ********************************************************************** PT. Prima Batam Sentosa is a company that running a services business in heavy equipment sector. Accounting system of PT. Prima Batam Sentosa are still using a manual and simple method recording system of financial statement because of it they cannot produce any good financial report. Standard financial statement become an obstacle to PT. Prima Batam Sentosa in making any current and future decision for their company. Purpose of this study is to create an accounting record according to the needs of the company. Microsoft Office Access 2010 is what we use in this research to design the accounting system. The initial stage of research starts from finding a place for this study and choosing a suitable title for this study. The next step of this study is to observe and interviewing the company to obtain information such as background, activities and problem information during this company running. Then the application of the system designed for PT. Prima Batam Sentosa. PT. Prima Batam Sentosa has implemented the system. Result from implemented system are the company can produce financial reports that are in accordance to accounting standards and the report will be taken into consideration of making decisions. A suggestion that can be given to PT. Prima Batam Sentosa is expected be using this system continuously in order to get an accurate financial report that according to the standard financial statement. Note for next study are this system need to be followed up is add tax calculation feature.
