Abstract
Laporan kerja praktek yang berjudul “Aktivitas Magang sebagai Pastry Cook di The Residence Bintan.” Tujuan penulisan laporan ini adalah untuk memenuhi program pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan oleh kampus yaitu program praktek kerja lapangan selama empat bulan yang telah dilaksanakan di The Residence Bintan. Dengan adanya praktek kerja lapangan ini penulis dapat mengetahui situasi dunia kerja yang sebenarnya dan memperdalam pengetahuan tentang food and beverage product dibagian pastry .Pengumpulan data digunakan untuk mendapatkan rincian yang berkaitan dengan penelitian melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja karyawan dalam pastry di The Residence Bintan masih memerlukan tingkat kesadaran dalam kelancaran operasional. Semua operasional yang terkait dengan bagian kue berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan prosedur operasional standar yang telah ditentukan. Strategi terbaik adalah menghasilkan respon yang mengetahui tentang produk yang dihasilkan pastry dan hotel bagaimana karyawan untuk mengatasi kendala operasional pada saat bekerja. ********************************************************************** Practical work report entitled "Internship Activitiy as Pastry Cook at The Residence Bintan." The purpose of this report's decision is to approve the learning program determined by the campus, which is a four-month field work practice program that has been implemented at The Residence Bintan. With the existence of this field work practice, the author can understand the real world of work and deepen knowledge about food and beverage products in the cake section. Data collection is used to obtain details related to research related to collection, tracking, and interviews. From the results of the study show that the results of research in the cake at The Residence Bintan still requires a level of success in the smooth operation. All operations related to the part run well and in accordance with specified operational standard procedures. The best strategy produces responses that learn about the products produced by the cake and the hotel how to solve problems at work.
