Abstract

Laporan kerja praktik bertujuan untuk merancangkan sistem pencatatan akuntansi yang berfungsi untuk membantu salah satu Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM). Toko Edy Collection ialah salah satu usaha yang tidak mempunyai sistem pencatatan akuntansi sehingga dengan sistem yang telah dirancang oleh penulis dapat memberikan bantuan kepada pemilik Edy Collection untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala yang dialami contoh kendalanya adalah kesulitan untuk mengetahui laporan persediaan dan kesulitan untuk mengetahui laporan keuangan. Dalam laporan praktik ini terdapat luaran proyek yang bertujuan untuk melaksanakan implementansi dengan memakai sistem Microsoft Office Access. Microsoft Office Access dapat mendesainkan sistem pencatatan akuntansi dalam transaksi keuangan yang berupa: daftar akun, daftar aset, daftar persediaan, daftar pelanggan, daftar pemasok. Sistem yang dirancang selain mendesain pencatatan transaksi juga mempunyai fungsi untuk menghasilkan transaksi laporan penjualan, laporan pembeliaan dan laporan kartu persediaan. Selain dari itu, sistem ini juga dapat menghasilkan laporan keuangan yang handal contohnya laporan buku besar, neraca atau disebut sebagai laporan posisi keuangan, laporan laba rugi dan laporan untuk melihat perubahan ekuitas. Setelah sistem yang dirancang sudah siap, maka penulis melaksanakan tahap implementasi di Toko Edy Collection. Implementasi pada Toko Edy Collection berjalan sangat lancar, pemilik tidak ada masalah dalam memakai sistem tersebut. Selain itu, pemilik juga mengetahui laporan persediaan dan laporan keuangan sehingga untuk mengetahui keuntungan dan kerugian usaha dapat diperolehkan secara langsung dari sistem yang siap dirancang. ********************************************************************** The purpose of this internship report is to design an accounting recording system that functions to assist one of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Edy Collection is one of the MSMEs that does not have an any accounting recording system. Thus, the system designed by the author could help the owner of Edy Collection to overcome the constraints. Edy Collection is having difficulties in knowing inventory reports and difficulties in knowing financial statements. In this internship report, author is aiming to implement using the Microsoft Office Access system to design. Microsoft Office Access can design a system to recording all of the financial transactions that can provide list of accounting, list of asset, list of inventory, list of customer and list of supplier. Beside that, the system that the author designed also can provide sales reports, purchase reports and inventory card reports. In addition, it can also produce reliable financial reports such as general ledger reports, balance sheets or referred to as statements of financial position, income statements and changes in equity. After the system is ready to use, the authors will carry out the project to implement directly at Edy Collection. Since the implementation runs very well, the owner can use the system very smoothly without any troublesome. After using the system, the owner can directly provide inventory report and also financial report that can analyze the performance of the business.
