Abstract

Kerja praktik ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi oleh Toko Cellen. Dengan adanya program ini, diharapkan mampu membantu meringankan serta mempermudah seluruh anggota tempat usaha dalam melaksanakan kegiatan operasional usaha. Tersedianya sistem pencatatan akuntansi yang tidak memadai melatarbelakangi pelaksanaan kerja praktik ini dan menimbulkan hambatan bagi pemilik dalam mengetahui penghasilan operasional usaha. Dengan pencatatan yang sederhana, laporan finansial yang dihasilkan kurang tepat dan akurat. Berangkat dari alasan tersebut, sistem pencatatan akuntansi dirancang dengan memanfaatkan program Microsoft Office Access. Dengan mengacu pada hasil observasi, sistem kemudian dirancang. Perancangan diawali dengan pembuatan tabel, formulir, query, dan laporan akhir yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Toko Cellen. Formulir digunakan untuk mengisi data yang akan dimunculkan dalam tabel. Query berfungsi sebagai penghubung antara data pada tabel dengan rumus tertentu sehingga laporan dapat terbentuk. Laporan keuangan yang dirancang dalam sistem ini terdiri atas laporan laba rugi, laporan posisi keuangan, laporan pembelian, laporan penjualan, laporan akhir persediaan, laporan pembayaran utang, dan neraca saldo. Setelah seluruh komponen dimuat dalam perancangan sistem, uji coba atau testing diadakan untuk memastikan bahwa sistem beroperasi dengan lancar. Apabila ditemukan masalah, perbaikan akan dilakukan untuk menyempurnakan sistem. Kekurangan serta masukan dari pemilik dan pengguna sistem juga dapat menjadi arahan dalam penyempurnaan sistem. Kemudian implementasi sistem dilakukan dengan didampingi oleh pemilik dan pengguna sistem. Sistem yang digunakan menghasilkan output yang lebih tepat dan akurat sehingga efektif dan efisien bagi pemilik dalam mengetahui informasi performa dan kinerja usaha. Dengan informasi tersebut, pengambilan keputusan oleh pemilik menjadi lebih tepat. Tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk mengadakan perbaikan di masa depan untuk menyesuaikan kebutuhan sehingga dapat menghasilkan informasi yang lebih rinci dan output yang lebih lengkap. ********************************************************************** The main intention of carrying out this work practice is to solve the problems faced by Cellen Store. With this program, it is expected to be able to ease and lighten up all members of the business in carrying out the business operational. The unavailability of an adequate accounting recording system creates obstacles for the owner in knowing the business operational income and this becomes the background of the implementation of this practical work. A simple record results in less precise and less accurate financial statements. Departing from these reasons, an accounting recording system is designed with the help of Microsoft Office Access. Refer to the result of observation, the system is designed. The design begins by creating tables, forms, queries and final reports that suit the needs of Cellen Store. Forms are used to fill in data that will appear in tables. Query links the data in the table with certain formulas to generate a report. The financial statements that are designed in this system consist of a purchase report, sales report, ending stock report, income statement, statements of financial position, purchase payment report and trial balance. After all of the components are designed in the system, testing is carried out to ensure that the system is running well. If a problem is found, repairs will be made to improve the system. Suggestions and recommendations from the owner and system users may help to improve the recording system. The system implementation is carried out accompanied by the owner and user of the system. The recording system produces more precise and accurate output so that it is effective and efficient for the owner in knowing the business performance. With this information, decision making by the owner is more appropriate. It is possible to make improvements in the future to adjust the needs to produce more detailed information and more complete output.
