Abstract

Kerja praktik ini bertujuan untuk menangani permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Firma Hukum Interact Advocates And Solicitors (IAAS) dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk keberlanjutan usahanya karena IAAS belum memiliki sistem pencatatan dan pelaporan akuntansi yang andal dan akurat. Kegiatan kerja praktik dilakukan selama periode 21 Januari 2019 sampai dengan 31 Mei 2019. Dalam menjalankan kerja praktik ini, terdapat tiga tahapan yang harus dilalui. Pertama, melakukan observasi di tempat kerja praktik dengan mewawancarai pimpinan IAAS untuk memperoleh data yang dibutuhkan. Kedua, perancangan sistem akuntansi menggunakan program Microsoft Access. Perancangan sistem dimulai dari pembuatan daftar akun dan daftar aktiva tetap yang dimiliki oleh IAAS. Perancangan pun dilanjutkan dengan membuat formulir pencatatan transaksi hingga menghasilkan laporan keuangan. Ketiga, yaitu proses implementasi sistem untuk menguji keandalan dan keakuratan sistem sesuai dengan kebutuhan IAAS. Luaran dari kerja praktik, yaitu berupa sistem pencatatan dan pelaporan akuntansi yang dapat menyajikan laporan keuangan dengan fitur-fitur seperti pencatatan transaksi, buku besar, neraca lajur, dan laporan keuangan. Laporan keuangan yang dihasilkan oleh sistem diantaranya adalah laporan posisi keuangan, laporan laba rugi, dan laporan modal sekutu. ********************************************************************** This practical work aims to address the problems faced by Interact Advocates And Solicitors Law Firm (IAAS) in making decisions for its sustainable business due to IAAS has yet to have a reliable and accurate accounting recording and reporting system. Practical work activities was carried out during January 21st, 2019 to May 31st, 2019 period. In carrying out this practical work, there are three stages that must be passed. First, make observations in the practical workplace by interviewing the owner of IAAS to obtain the required data. Second, the designing of accounting system using Microsoft Access program. The system design starts from creating a list of accounts and a list of fixed assets owned by IAAS. The design was continued by making a transaction recording form to produce a financial report. Third, the system implementation process to test the reliability and accuracy of the system in accordance with IAAS needs. The output of the practical work, namely in the form of accounting recording and reporting system that can present financial reports with features such as transactions recording, general ledgers, work sheet, and financial statements. The financial statements produced by the system includes statement of financial position, statement of profit or loss, and the partners’ capital report.
