Abstract

Teknologi jaringan komputer saat ini sudah banyak mengalami perkembangan sehingga mempermudah dalam hal berbagi data. Oleh karena itu, manajemen data sangat penting baik untuk keperluan pribadi, instansi pendidikan ataupun pemerintahah. Maka penulis membuat sistem file sharing pada Batam Tourism Polytechnic agar dapat mempermudah pengguna dalam mengakses dan berbagi data. Pelaksanaan proyek kerja praktek berlangsung selama 3 bulan, terhitung mulai dari bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan April. Proses-proses yang dilakukan untuk membuat sistem ini terdiri: analisis masalah dan kebutuhan, pengumpulan data, perancangan dan implementasi, pengujian, dan penyusunan laporan dan dokumentasi. Aplikasi perangkat lunak yang digunakan seperti Ubuntu Server 14.04.5, Nextcloud 12.0.0, Apache2, dan module pendukung lainnya. Dengan adanya file sharing berbasis cloud seperti Nextcloud 12.0.0 adalah sistem ini dapat membantu mempermudah pengguna dalam berbagi data, menyimpan data, mengorganisir data, dan keamanan yang ditawarkan oleh sistem juga cukup baik. Therefore, data management is essential for both personal, educational or governmental purposes. Therefore, the author would like to create a file sharing system at Batam Tourism Polytechnic in order to facilitate users in accessing and sharing data. The implementation and internship project lasts for 3 months, starting from February to April. Process of creating this system consists of: analysis of problems and needs, data collection, design and implementation, testing, and making of reports and documentation. Application software used such as Ubuntu Server 14.04.5, Nextcloud 12.0.0, Apache2, and other supporting modules. With the cloud-based file sharing like Nextcloud 12.0.0 is this system can help facilitate users in sharing data, store data, organize data, and security offered by the system is also quite good.
