Abstract

Dilakukannya kerja praktek ini bertujuan untuk memberikan suatu solusi terhadap masalah yang sedang dihadapi oleh toko Lavender mengenai tidak akuratnya data transaksi dan data stok yang disimpan. Sistem yang dipakai toko Lavender sebelumnya masih bersifat pencatatan manual di buku sehingga data transaksi tidak akurat. Oleh karena itu, dengan adanya sistem point of sales berbasis web akan meningkatkan kelengkapan dan akurasi data yang disimpan dalam meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Tahapan perancangan dan implementasi serta penyusunan penulisan laporan dilaksanakan selama lebih dari tiga bulan, yaitu dari awal bulan Februari 2018 hingga akhir bulan April 2018. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penerapan sistem point of sales yaitu meningkatkan kecepatan dan akurasi data transaksi serta data stok barang dengan menyimpan semua data tersebut pada database. Selain itu, hasil dari data tersebut akan diolah menjadi sebuah laporan yang dapat dicetak menjadi laporan fisik yang dapat disimpan menjadi salah satu dari cadangan prosedur perusahaan. ********************************************************************** This internship aims to provide a solution for the problem of the Lavender store about facing the inaccuracy of stored transaction data and stock data. The system that was used in previous Lavender stores was manually record in the book so the transaction data was not accurate. Therefore, with a web-based point of sales system will improve the completeness and accuracy of stored data and is considered very important in improving the performance of business. Stages of design and implementation as well as the preparation of report writing is conducted for more than three months, start from early February 2018 until late April 2018. The results obtained from the application of point of sales system is to improve the speed and the accuracy of transaction data and stock data by storing all the data in the database. In addition, the results of the data will be processed into a report that can be printed into a physical report that can be stored into one of the company backup procedures.
