Abstract
Kualitas pendidikan sangat tergantung dari kemampuan, kerja keras dan dedikasi dari para guru. Saat guru tidak dapat mengikuti perkembangan kemajuan pendidikan maka kinerja guru tidak selaras dengan kebijakan pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini menguji faktor kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Adapun faktor kompetensi guru yaitu kompetensi belajar, kompetensi sosial, kompetensi teknologi dan kompetensi pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengujian deskriptif statitstik, uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesa dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 364 guru yang berasal dari sekolah SMK di kota Tanjungpinang. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut yaitu ke semua aspek kompetensi guru diketahui memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan positif terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diimplentasikan oleh sekolah dan dinas terkait untuk mengeksplorasi dan meningkatkan faktor kompetensi guru yang ada agar mendorong kinerja mengajar guru yang lebih baik. ********************************************************************** The quality of education depends on the ability, hard work and dedication of the teacher. If a teacher fails to keep herself in touch educational developments then she would become inefficient and ineffective as indicated in the National Education Policy. This research has aims to analyze teacher competencies on teach performance, teacher competencies divided in to four aspects are learning competency, social competency, technology competency and educational competency. This research was conduct statistic descriptive analytic, data quality test, classic assumption test and hypothesis test, using 364 samples from vocational high school teacher in Tanjung pinang city. A result of this study is all aspect of teacher competencies has positive and significant affecting teach performance.The findings can be used by the school and relevant authorities to explore and encourage the teacher competencies in order to achieve great teacher performance.
