Abstract

Tatanan global telah membawa implikasi terhadap cara berinteraksi sosial dan berkomunikasi dalam proses kepemimpinan yang berdampak pada kemampuan organisasi BP Batam untuk menghadapi persaingan dengan negara-negara tetangga di ASEAN dalam pengelolaan investasi di kawasan perdagangan bebas dan pelabuhan bebas Batam. Penelitian yang dilakukan di Kawasan Perdagangan Bebas dan Pelabuhan Bebas Batam, Kota Batam melibatkan 170 kuesioner. Proses pengujian hipotesa dan analisa pada penelitian ini menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dari proses analisa pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepemimpinan transaksional terhadap kinerja tim berpengaruh positif. Adapun pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja tim dengan mediasi pemberdayaan psikologis menunjukkan pengaruh mediasi parsial yang positif, sedangkan pengaruh terhadap mediasi strategi inovasi tidak signifikan. Kesimpulan dari proses analisa dan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional merupakan faktor yang sangat bepengaruh terhadap kinerja tim di BP Batam. ********************************************************************** The global order has implications to social interaction and communication in leadership process that has impact on the ability of BP Batam to face competition with neighboring countries of ASEAN in terms of managing investment in Batam Free Trade Zone. The research was conducted in Batam Free Trade Zone, Batam City which involved 170 questionnaires. The hypothesis testing and analysis are done using PLS-SEM. The hypothesis testing from the analysis process indicates that the influence of transformational leadership and transactional leadership on team performance has a positive effect. The effect of transformational leadership on team performance with psychological empowerment mediation shows positive effect of partial mediation, while the effect on mediation innovation strategy is not significant. The conclusion of this analysis process and study showed that transformational leadership is a very influential factor on team performance at BP Batam.
