Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai pengaruh koneksi politik dan tata kelola perusahaan pada pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan (CSR) pada hasil seleksi perusahaan yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Variabel koneksi politik, ukuran komite audit, struktur kepemilikan (publik; pemerintah dan asing) serta karakteristik dewan (direktur independen; ukuran dewan direksi dan rapat dewan direksi) yang dijadikan sebagai pengukuran terhadap pengungkapan CSR yang diukur dengan standar panduan perilaku CSR (indeks ISO 26000). Dalam penelitian ini terdapat juga 2 variabel kontrol yaitu ukuran perusahaan dan leverage. Perusahaan yang telah diseleksi sebanyak 441 dengan rentan waktu antara 2013 sampai dengan 2017. Hasil publikasi laporan tahunan dan keuangan auditan dari setiap perusahaan tersebut yang dijadikan data penelitian. Data tersebut akan diuji dengan perangkat lunak statistik dengan fitur pengujian regresi panel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengungkapan CSR terpengaruhi secara signifikan positif oleh ukuran komite audit, kepemilikan pemerintah, ukuran perusahaan, direktur independen, ukuran dan rapat dewan direksi serta leverage. Namun pengungkapan CSR terpengaruh secara signifikan negatif oleh koneksi politik. Di sisi lain menunjukkan pengungkapan CSR tidak terpengaruh oleh kepemilikan publik dan asing. ********************************************************************** This research examines the influence of political connection and corporate governance to corporate social responsibility disclosure (CSRD) on listed companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research uses several variables which are political connection, ownership structure (such as public, government and foreign), audit committee size and board characteristic (such as board independence, board size and board of directors’ meetings) towards the CSRD which is measured based on guidance on social responsibility (ISO 26000). There are also two control variables are used in this research such as firm size and leverage. The listed companies in IDX that were used in this research amounted to 441 companies with vulnerable periods between 2013 till 2017. This research used the publications of annual reports and financial statements of each public company as the research data. Those data will be tested with the panel regression figure in the Statistical software. This research found that the CSRD is affected positively by audit committee size, government ownership, board independence, board size, board of directors’ meetings, leverage and firm size. However the CSRD is affected negatively by political connection. On the other side indicates that the CSRD is not affected by public and foreign ownership.
