Abstract

Investasi logam emas merupakan suatu investasi yang sungguh menguntungkan untuk jangka waktu yang lama. Logam emas juga merupakan sesuatu yang populer diantara kalangan masyarakat umum sehingga lebih mudah dijual kembali. Dengan mengetahui hal tersebut, maka saya menulis penelitian ini yang berjudul dengan “Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Investment Decision Logam Emas pada Masyarakat di Kota Batam” dengan tujuan untuk melihat apakah faktor-faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini mempunyai terdapat efek signifikan kepada keputusan investasi para investor yang berada di Kota Batam. Terdapat variabel bebas yang dipakaikan pada penelitian ini adalah accounting information, self-image, neutral information, advocate recommendation dan personal financial needs. Sebanyak 300 kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada penduduk Kota Batam dan dari total kuesioner yang dibagikan terdapat 250 kuesioner yang dapat digunakan. Objek penelitian ini untuk mengetahui alasan yang mendorong keputusan untuk berinvestasi logam emas. Hasil didalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa accounting information, self-image, advocate recommendation dan personal financial needs memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif sehingga berpengaruh terhadap investment decision, sedangkan untuk variasi neutral information tersebut tidak mempunyai signifikan yang positif terhadap variabel dependen investment decision, sehingga berita yang terdapat pada media massa/media dan yang lainnya tidak mempengaruhi pada investment decision. ********************************************************************** Gold metal investment is an investment that is truly profitable for a long time. Gold metal is also something that is popular among the general public, making it easier to resell. By knowing this, I wrote this research entitled "Analysis of Factors Affecting Gold Metal Investment Decision in People in Batam City" with the aim to see whether the factors examined in this study have a significant influence on the investment decisions of the investors in Batam City. There are independent variables used in this study which are accounting information, self-image/firm-image coincidence, neutral information, advocate recommendation and personal financial needs. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed to residents of Batam City and from the total questionnaires distributed there were 250 questionnaires that could be used. The object of this research is to find out the reasons that drive the decision to invest in gold. The results in this study indicate that accounting information, self-image, advocate recommendation and personal financial needs have a significant positive effect on the investment decision, while for variations of neutral information does not have a positive significant effect on the dependent variable investment decision, so the news contained the mass media / media and others do not affect the investment decision.
