Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa faktor-faktor fundamental yang mempengaruhi kebijakan dividen, Faktor-faktor yang dianalisa pada penelitian ini meliputi profitabilitas, likuiditas, leverage, ukuran perusahaan dan pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan terbuka pada Bursa Efek Indonesia yang membagikan dividen berturut-turut selama 5 tahun. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 555 sampel dari 111 perusahaan selama periode tahun 2012 sampai dengan tahun 2016. Penelitian ini mengunakan program E-views untuk menganalisa hubungan antara variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel profitabilitas yang di ukur dengan ROE berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap kebijakan dividen, variabel leverage yang di ukur dengan debt to equity ratio berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kebijakan dividen, sedangkan variabel likuiditas yang di ukur dengan current ratio, variabel ukuran perusahaan dan pertumbuhan perusahaan berpengaruh insignifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. ********************************************************* This study aims to analyze the fundamental factors that influence dividend policy. The factors analyzed in this research include profitability, liquidity, leverage, firm size and company growth on dividend policy. The object of this study is an open company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that distributed dividends in 5 consecutive years. The sample used amounted to 555 samples from 111 companies during the period of 2012 to 2016. This study uses E-views program to analyze the relationship between independent variables to the dependent variable. The result of the research shows that profitability variable that is measured with ROE has a significant negative effect to dividend policy, leverage variable which is measured by debt to equity ratio has a significant positive effect on dividend policy, while liquidity variable is measured with current ratio, variable of firm size and growth companies have an insignificant effect on dividend policy.
