Abstract
Perencanaan menggunakan konsep TOD dapat diterapkan pada kawsan untuk menciptakan keberhasilan kawasan dari segi sistem transportasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola kegiatan sistem transportasi di Kecamatan Batu Aji dan Kecamatan Sagulung, serta untuk merencanakan sistem transportasi pada kawasan tersebut. Hasil menunjukan bahwa tingkat pelayanan jalan (LOS) di Kecamatan Batu Aji dan Sagulung adalah skala E menurut MKJI yang mengakibatkan kendaraan kadang berhenti sehingga tidak stabil. Penggunaan transportasi pribadi berbasis sepeda motor (MC) mendominasi ruas jalan di Kecamatan Batu Aji dan Kecamatan Sagulung dengan pergerakan Trans Batam sebagai moda trasnportasi umum yang masih sangat lambat. Perencanaan sistem transportasi menggunakan konsep TOD dapat diterapkan di Kawasan tersebut dengan memenuhi kriteria – kriteria yang disediakan pada Tabel 4.6. ********************************************************************** Planning using the TOD concept can be applied to create success in terms of the transportation system. The purposes of this study were to identify the pattern of transportation system activities in Batu Aji and Sagulung sub-district, as well as to plan transportation systems in the area. The results show that the Level of Service (LOS) in Batu Aji and Sagulung area is grade E by MKJI which causes the vehicle sometimes stop and unstable. The use of motorbike-based (MC) dominates the roads in Batu Aji and Sagulung sub-districts with the Trans Batam movement as a mode of public transportation is still very slow. Transportation system planning using the TOD concept can be applied in the area by meeting the criteria providing in Table 4.6.
