Abstract
Pejalan kaki merupakan orang yang berjalan di lintasan pejalan kaki, adapun pergerakan pejalan kaki antara lain pergerakan memotong jalan dan persimpangan, menyusuri jalan, serta perpindahan barang dan manusia yang memenuhi aturan dan keselamatan pejalan kaki, dimana pejalan kaki merupakan salah satu bagian lalu lintas yang penting, khususnya diperkotaan. Jumlah penduduk kota Batam pada tanggal 3 Oktober 2017 sekitar 1.236.399 jiwa menurut badan pusat statistic (BPS). Banyak juga fasilitas yang kurang memadai sehingga pejalan kaki lebih memilih memotong jalan pada tempat yang tidak seharusnya. hal tersebut terjadi pada ruas Jl. Brigjen Katamso yang terletak di daerah Batu Aji, khususnya didepan SMPN 9 Batam. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan menganalisis fasilitas penyebrangan pejalan kaki pada ruas jl. Brigjen Katamso. Analisa yang dilakukan menggunakan metode Departemen Pekerjaan Umum Direktorat Jendral Bina Marga tahun 1995 tentang fasilitas pejalan kaki di kawasan perkotaan. Berdasarkan hasil survey lapangan untuk arah timur (Batu Aji – Sekupang) diperoleh arus pejalan kaki pada jam 11:30 -12:30 sebesar 1160 org/m/jam, Kecepatan Pejalan kaki pada jam 17:00 – 18:00 sebsar 71.62 m/menit, Kepadatan pejalan kaki pada jam 11:30-12:30 sebesar 0.27496 org/ m², ruang pejalan kaki pada jam 17:00-18:00 sebesar 29.68 m². untuk arah barat (Sekupang-Batu Aji) arus pejalan kaki pada jam 11:30-12:30 sebesar 1780 org/m/jam, kecepatan pejalan kaki pada jam 11:30-12:30 sebesar 73.13 m/menit, kepadatan pejalan kaki pada jam 11:30-12:30 sebesar 0.40874 org/ m², ruang pejalan kaki pada jam 17:00-18:00 sebesar 18.41 m². Rekomendasi tipe penyeberangan yaitu penyeberangan pelican dengan pelindung. Tingkat pelayanan fasiitas pejalan kaki berada pada level C. Human and pedestrian displacement and pedestrian safety, where pedestrians are one of the most important components of traffic, especially in urban areas. In Indonesia, According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the population of Batam city on October 3, 2017 is about 1,236,399 people. Many facilities are also inadequate so pedestrians prefer to cut the road where it should not be. it happened at Jl. Brigjen Katamso located in Batu Aji area, especially in front of SMPN 9 Batam. The study was conducted with the aim of analyzing pedestrian crossing facilities on the jl. Brigadier Katamso. The analysis was conducted using Department of Public Works Directorate General of Highways in 1995 on pedestrian facilities in urban areas. Based on the results of field surveys for the east (Batu Aji - Sekupang) obtained Pedestrian flow at 11:30 to 12:30 hours of 1160 org / m / hour, Pedestrian Speed at 17:00 - 18:00 sebsar 71.62 m / minute, Pedestrian Density at 11: 30-12: 30 of 0.27496 org / m², pedestrian space from 17: 00-18: 00 of 29.68 m². for the west direction (Sekupang-Batu Aji) pedestrian flow at 11: 30-12: 30 of 1780 org / m / h, pedestrian speed at 11: 30-12: 30 of 73.13 m / min, pedestrian density at 11: 30-12: 30 of 0.40874 org / m², pedestrian space at 17: 00-18: 00 at 18.41 m².
