Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to propose a model in which the hypothesis that shared employee norms predicted both perceptions of work environment safety and at-risk behavior, trust in supervisor predicted perceptions of a safe work environment, and belief in management’s safety values predicted at-risk behaviors. The population in this study were all employees who work at shipyard company in five big company Batu Ampar industrial area in Batam by using judgement purposive sampling. A total 250 questionnaires were distributed to pruduction employees. Statistical method used to test the research hypothesis are regression, multiple regression analysis method. The result showed that all variables have unsignificantly impact to Management Safety Value.
