Abstract

This research is to analyze the impact to firm value. This research uses 53 firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchanges (IDX) and 144 firms listed in Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE), which are selecting using purposive sampling method. Those selected firms published their financial statement during 2005 until 2010. The data obtained from the annual financial report for the companies in IDX and KLSE. The statistic method used to test on the research hypothesis is multiple regression method. Independent variables are capital structure, profitability, firm size, capital expenditure, growth opportunity, tax rate, leverage,operating leverage, financial leverage, and business risk while the dependent variable is firm value. The results indicated that, capital structur, firm size, growth opportunity, capital expenditure, leverage, and business risk on firm value in firms listed in IDX and capital expenditure, growth opportunity, firm size, profitability,and leverage have impact on firm value in firms listed in KLSE.
