Abstract

Financial literacy is a science that every individual must have in order to avoid financial problems. In an era where all-sophisticated with internet technology that can be reached with just a fingertip, the emerging financial products/services are increasingly varied. As a result, many Indonesians find it difficult to distinguish between official and unofficial financial services. The low financial literacy has made many Indonesians entangled in illegal investments or fraudulent investments. Therefore, the author is interested in doing community service to Yehonala Batam High School students with the aim of helping the government reduce the high number of victims of fraudulent investments, as well as providing insight into the importance of financial literacy to Yehonala Batam High School students.
