Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pengajuan surat tugas LPPM berbasis website yang sebelumnya masih belum digitalisasi. Sistem ini dibangun karena sebelumnya, setiap kali dosen ingin mengajukan surat tugas harus ke LPPM dan pengisian formulir, mengumpulkan berkas-berkas yang diperlukan belum digitalisasi. Pengisian formulir ini sering terjadinya human error seperti salah penginputan nama dan gelar dosen yang akan melaksanakan tugas, berkas hilang, dan sulit melacak status pengajuan. Pembangunan sistem ini menggunakan bahasa pemograman Php framework Codeigniter, penggunaan database MySql dan menggunakan metode SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Dengan digitalisasi, sistem ini menggunakan pengajuan eForm sehingga mempermudah dosen dalam proses pengajuan surat tugas, mengurangi terjadinya human error, mengubah proses verifikasi dari tandatangan manual menjadi electronic approval baik oleh Ketua LPPM dan Wakil Rektor, dan memudahkan dalam melacak status pengajuan dan mencetak surat tugas baik secara elektronik dan hardcopy.---------------------------------------This study aims to build a website-based LPPM (Research and Community Service Beaureu) assignment filing system which was previously not digitalized. This system was built because previously every time the lecturer wanted to submit an assignment letter, he/she had to go to the LPPM and fill out the form, collecting the required files, not yet digitalized. Completion of this form often results in human errors such as incorrect input of the name and title of the lecturer who will carry out the assignment, missing files, and it's difficult to monitor the status of submissions. This development system uses the PHP programming language, Codeigniter framework, uses the MySQL database and uses the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) method. With digitalization, this system uses eForm submissions to make it easier for lecturers in the process of submitting assignments, reducing the incidence of human error, leveraging the process from manual signature to electronic approval by both the Chair of the LPPM and the Deputy Chancellor, and making it easier to monitor the status of submissions and print assignments electronically and hardcopy.
