Abstract

Selama enam bulan penulis melakukan kerja praktek di salah satu resort yang berada di Pulau Bintan yaitu Bintan Lagoon Resort. Bintan Lagoon Resort berada di Pulau Bintan Kecamatan Teluk Sebong kawasan Pariwisata Lagoi dan beralamat di Jalan Indera Segara site A12, Kabupaten Bintan, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia. Hotel bintang lima ini dipimpin oleh Mr. Jeff Tay (Mr.Tay) yang merupakan President Director di Bintan Lagoon Resort. Penulis mengambil departemen kantor depan sebagai bagian yang akan penulis jalankan selama enam bulan ini. Departemen kantor depan adalah salah satu departemen yang terdapat di setiap hotel, peran dari setiap karyawan kantor depan begitu penting, karena departemen ini merupakan cermin dari kualitas hotel. Selama masa training ini penulis mendapat beberapa bagian dari departemen kantor depan yaitu resepsionis, telepon operator, customer relation dan reservasi. Bintan Lagoon Resort merupakan resort yang termasuk lengkap fasilitasnya di Pulau Bintan. Fasilitas tersebut seperti memiliki ferry terminal sendiri, lapangan golf, vila, klinik kesehatan, dan lain sebagainya yang akan dibahas dalam laporan ini. ********************************************************************** For six months the author has finished doing the practical work at one of Bintan Island resorts named Bintan Lagoon Resort. Bintan Lagoon Resort is located at Bintan Island, Teluk Sebong District, Lagoi Tourism area and is located at Jalan Indera Segara site A12, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands, Indonesia. This five-star hotel is headed by Mr. Jeff Tay (Mr.Tay) who is the President Director of Bintan Lagoon Resort. The author takes the front office department as part of what the author will run for six months. The front office is one of the departments in hotel. The role of front office employee is very important, because this department is a reflection of the quality of the hotel. During this training period, the author gets several parts from the front office and the section are receptionist, telephone operator, customer relations and reservation. Bintan Lagoon Resort is a resort that includes complete facilities on Bintan Island. Such as owning a ferry terminal, golf course, villa, health clinic, etc. will be discussed in this report.
