Abstract

Kerja Praktek yang dilakukan oleh penulis bertujuan utnuk meningkatkan profit dan memberikan suasana baru serta memperbaiki sistem sistem promosi yang telah dijalankan oleh Smith Patisserie BCS Mall. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh Smith Patisserie yaitu ketidakefisiensian dalam menggunakan dana promosi. Dana yang dikeluarkan oleh Smith Patisserie terlalu besar dan tidak sebanding dengan feedback hasil promosi yang didapatkan. Kegiatan Kerja Praktek dilaksanakan selama periode 04 Oktober 2019 s.d. 15 Desember 2019. Adapun metode-metode yang dipilih untuk melaksanakan Kerja Praktek ini adalah observasi, interview, perancangan dan penerapan. Kerja Praktek ini memberikan dampak terhadap sistem promosi yang diterapkan dan terdokumentasi oleh perusahaan. Gambaran besar yang disampaikan kepada Smith Patisserie antara lain sistem promosi yang akan diterapkan, list down dari penerapan yang akan diterapkan serta pembuatan dan cara membaca timeline untuk promosi yang akan diterapkan pada Smith Patisserie. Penerapan sistem promosi yang akan diterapkan antara lain menggunakan iklan/advertising, promosi penjualan dan digital marketing. Promosi penjualan dibagi menjadi dua yaitu bundle pricing dan giveaway. Pada sistem digital marketing, implementasi sistem ini akan dibantu dengan media sosial antara lain facebook, line@, WhatsApp dan Instagram. Penerapan sistem promosi ini mulai dari penyususnan timeline kerja, penentuan mood design serta implementasi design terhadap masing-masing sistem promosi yang akan diterapkan. ********************************************************************** The objectives of the professional placement which was done by the writer are to increase the profit, to give new atmosphere, and to fix the promotional system which has been done by Smith Patisserie BCS Mall. The main problem faced by Smith Patisserie is the inefficiency in utilizing the promotional fund. The fund which is utilized are not comparble to the feedback gotten from the promotion. The practical work is done from 4th of october to 15th of december 2019. The methods used in this placement are observation, interview, planning and application method. This placement affected the promotional system which is applied and documented by the cooperation. Some of the main materials given tk the Smith Patisserie are the promotionsl system that would be applied, the list of what would be applied and the way to apply them, and the wah to write and read the timeline to promote. The application of this promotional system would by applied by utilizing the advertisements, sale promotion, and digital marketing. The sale promtion would be divided into two ways, bundle pricing and giveaway. In terms of digital marketing, the implementation would use the social media - facebook, line, Whatsapp, and instagram. The application of this promotional system began from arranging the work timeline, deciding the design mood, as well as deciding the implementation of the design based on the promotional system that would be applied
