Abstract

Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk memperluas pengetahuan tentang destinasi budaya di Batam, Indonesia dengan menggunakan situs web dan media sosial. Era baru penggunaan internet sudah tidak asing lagi bagi semua orang di dunia terutama untuk dewasa muda dan remaja, situs web dan media sosial adalah bentuk komunikasi dengan cara di mana orang-orang di seluruh dunia dapat belajar dan mencari konten yang menarik. Dalam perspektif penulis ada hubungan antara branding online dan niat kunjungan. Dalam pekerjaan proyek ini, penulis menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan pengumpulan data untuk metodologi, berbagai media seperti Situs Web, Facebook, YouTube dan Instagram akan digunakan untuk meningkatkan tingkat kunjungan tujuan budaya di kota Batam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jumlah kunjungan wisatawan secara signifikan lebih tinggi dan meningkat pesat karena paparan internet dengan menggunakan strategi branding online. ********************************************************************** The purpose of this project work is to expand the knowledge about cultural destination in Batam, Indonesia by using website and social media. New era of internet usage is familiar for everybody in the world especially for young adults and teenager, website and social media is a form of communication in a way whereby people around the world get to learn and seek for interesting content. In author perspective there are a relation between online branding and visit intention. In this project work, the author uses interview ,observation and data collection for the methodology, various media such as Website, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram will be used to increase the visit rate of cultural destination in Batam city. The results of this study showed that the numbers of tourist visiting are significantly higher and rapidly increasing due to internet exposure by using online branding strategy.
