Abstract

Pelaksanaan kerja praktik pada salah satu UMKM yang berdomisili di Batam yaitu Wei Xing, usaha penyedia jasa salon yang belum memiliki pendataan akuntansi yang efisien sejak tahun 2007. Kerja praktik yang diselenggarakan bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan persoalan pendataan akuntansi yang dimiliki oleh pemilik Wei Xing yang masih belum bisa menghasilkan laporan keuangan, sehingga pemilik kesulitan dalam menentukan keputusan yang efektif untuk kontinuitas usahanya. Sistem pendataan akuntansi yang disediakan perlu disesuaikan dengan karakterisitik usaha pemilik sehingga mudah diadaptasikan oleh penggunanya. Perancangan sistem akuntansi dilakukan sesuai dengan data-data yang diperoleh melalui metode wawancara dan pengamatan. Kedua metode yang dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui dan mengerti aktivitas operasional agar sistem yang disediakan sesuai dengan karakteristik usaha yang dimiliki. Program yang digunakan untuk menyusun sistem pendataan akuntansi yaitu Microsoft Office Access. Hasil luaran dari sistem ini berupa laporan finansial yang memuat informasi yang sesuai dengan aktivitas operasi Wei Xing. Kesimpulan dari penyelenggaraan kerja praktik ini adalah sistem pendataan akuntansi yang disediakan sesuai dengan karakteristik usaha dan telah dilaksanakan pengimplementasian sistem pada Wei Xing. Wei Xing telah mampu melakukan penginputan transaksi keuangan dan menghasilkan laporan finansial yang mendukung pemilik dalam menyelesaikan masalah dan penentuan keputusan yang efektif untuk perkembangan usahanya. ********************************************************************** The implementation of this project has been fully done in one of the small business store which is domiciled in Batam, Wei Xing, salon store that didn’t have efficient records of accounting since 2007. The purpose of this project is to solve the difficulties of accounting recording that the owner had, which the owner could not make an effective decision for her business because the owner did not have the proper financial statements. The recording system of accounting that was designed as the characteristics of the owner’s business so the system could be easily understood and used by the user. The system was designed with the information which obtained by interview and observation technics. These technics were used to learn and understand the operating activities so that the system was designed as the needs of the owner. The program that used to design the system is Microsoft Office Access. The outputs of the system are financial statements that contained information regarding with the store’s operating activities. The conclusion of this project is the system was designed as the characteristics of the owner’s business and has been well implemented by Wei Xing. Wei Xing is now able to record the transactions which the system help to generate the financial statements which can help the owner to solve her problems and make effective decisions in business developing.
