Abstract
Kerja praktek yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa bertujuan untuk mengecek kesesuaian perhitungan tulangan yang digunakan oleh kontraktor dengan perhitungan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Banyaknya kegagalan struktur yang terjadi disebabkan oleh kesalahan perhitungan struktur sewaktu masa perencanaan. Hal tersebut selain merugikan secara material, fatal akibatnya jika sampai terdapat korban jiwa. Metode kerja praktek terdiri dari tahap pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara menghitung kebutuhan penggunaan tulangan yang mengacu kepada perhitungan yang sesuai dengan SNI. Perhitungan mahasiswa akan dievaluasi kembali dan dicocokkan dengan gambar kerja. Data-data yang diperlukan diperoleh dengan cara mewawancarai direktur, pimpinan proyek, dan mandor. Selama 3 bulan masa kerja praktek, mahasiswa mengimplementasikan ketentuan dan tujuan kerja praktek. Pelaksana kerja praktek menghitung balok secara manual dan membandingkan perhitungan tersebut menggunakan aplikasi perhitungan struktur. Pelaksana kerja praktek menyimpulkan bahwa perhitungan tulangan balok lantai 2 Sekolah Kaliban 2 telah sesuai dengan ketentuan yang menjadi dasar perhitungan pelaksana kerja praktek. ********************************************************************** Internship that carried out by student aims to compare the reinforcement calculations by the contractor with the one that is calculated by student. Many structural failures occur due to miscalculations of the structure during the planning of a building. These structural failures could do loss on material, furthermore if there are causalities included. The work method consists of data collection which is done by calculating the need of reinforcement which refers to calculations in SNI. Student calculations will be re-evaluated and matched with work drawings. The data needed is obtained by interviewing the director, project leader, and foreman. During the 3 months of internship, student has implemented the provisions and objectives of practical work. The author calculated the beams manually and compared these calculations using a software. The author concludes that the calculation of the second floor beam reinforcement of Kaliban School 2 is in accordance with the provisions on which the calculations are based.
