Abstract

Pelasksanaan Kerja praktek dilakukan di Box Hill Cafe House and BBQ Seafood. Rumah makan ini berlokasi di Komplek Wijaya Kusuma Blok H no.1, Nagoya-Batam. Pelaksanaan kerja prakek dimulai dari bulan Mei 2018 sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2018. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kerja praktek yaitu merancang sistem marketing mix yang dapat meningkatkan penjualan dari rumah makan. Metode yang dilakukan oleh penulis untuk mengumpulkan data yang diperlukan yaitu dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Melalui hasil ovservasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan terdapat permasalahan yang dimiliki oleh rumah makan. Rumah makan masih belum banyak diketahui oleh masyarakat Batam dan rumah makan ini juga belum pernah melakukan kegitan promosi. Perancangan strategi yang dilakukan oleh penulis yaitu dengan menggunakan bauran pemasaran. Adapun kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh penulis yaitu membuat menu baru, menambahkan list harga, bundle product/pricing dan perancangan kupon diskon dan kupon stamp. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui implementasi rancangan yang dibuat oleh penulis yaitu rumah makan lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat Batam, terdapat peningkatan penjualan pada rumah makan dan menu baru yang dibuat mendapatkan respon positif dari pelanggan. ********************************************************************** The implementation of pratical work was carried out at Box Hill Cafe House and BBQ Seafood. This restaurant was located in Komplek Wijaya Kusuma Blok H no.1, Nagoya-Batam. The pratical work starts from May 2018 until October 2018. The purpose of the practical work is to design a marketing mix system that can increase sales for the restaurant. The method that writer used to obtain information was by using observation and interview methods. Through the observation and interviews, there are problems faced by the restaurant. The restaurant is still not widely known by the society and the restaurant also never done any promotional activities. The strategy design carried out by the author was by using the marketing mix. The activities carried out by the authors are creating a new menu, adding pricelist, bundle product / pricing and designing discount coupons and stamp coupons. The results that the restaurant obtained through the implementation was the restaurant is now better known by the society , there was an increased on the sales of the restaurants and the new menu got a positive response from customers.
