Abstract
Video profile adalah rekaman yang menjelaskan fakta-fakta tentang hal-hal khusus. Video profile sebagai sarana promosi dan media informasi penting untuk program studi atau perusahaan karena dapat menjadi identitas untuk badan perusahaan dan program studi tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi oleh Universitas Internasional Batam yaitu kebutuhan sebuah video profile untuk program studi Teknik Sipil supaya dapat memperkenalkan program studi tersebut kepada masyarakat. Hasil dari kerja praktek ini berupa video yang berisi pengenalan dan gambaran umum yang dimiliki oleh program studi, yang dirancang menggunakan aplikasi Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 dan Adobe After Effect CS6. Hasil dari video tersebut kemudian diimplementasikan ke dalam televisi di Universitas Internasional Batam. Setelah melakukan implementasi, kita dapat mengetahui bahwa video profile ini dapat membantu program studi Teknik Sipil dalam memperkenalkan dan memberikan gambaran umum program studi kepada calon mahasiswa dan masyarakat. ********************************************************************** Profile Video is a recording that explains the facts about special things. Profile Video as a means of promotion and information media is important for study program or company because it can be the identity for corporate body and study program. The purpose of this study is to solve the problems faced by Universitas Internasional Batam that is the need for a profile video for Civil Engineering courses in order to introduce the study program to the public. The result of this practical work is a video that contains an introduction and an overview of the courses, designed using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 and Adobe After Effect CS6 applications. The results of the video are then implemented into television at Universitas Internasional Batam. After doing the implementation, we can know that this profile video can help Civil Engineering program in introducing and giving general description of study program to prospective students and society.
