Abstract

Permainan checkers merupakan sebuah permainan board game yang tersedia dalam bentuk aplikasi smartphone. Tujuan dari proyek ini ialah membantu pemain yang belum pernah main memahami permainan checkers dan pemain yang sudah pernah main dapat bermain lebih strategis. Aplikasi ini menyediakan fitur hint dan undo yang dapat membantu pemain dalam proses permainan. Penulis menggunakan 2 perangkat lunak selama pembuatan aplikasi yaitu Unity Engine 3D dan Sublime. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan selama melakukan pengembangan yaitu Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Aplikasi checkers berhasil dibuat dalam format apk yang dapat dijalankan melalui sistem operasi Android dengan basis sistem yang minimal 4.0 dan keatas. ********************************************************************** Artificial Intelligence(AI) is widely used in many sector and produce services that is beneficial to humans life. One of the oldest industry that is using AI is video game industry. Implementation of AI in video game create a immersive gaming experience that will always varied between playing iteration. This research aim to redefine AI in checkers video game using SDLC method, Unity engine and sublime text editor. The game application are developed successfully in android platform and also creating a more exciting gameplay using newly developed AI.
