Abstract

Dengan perkembangan teknologi serta informasi dan banyak kegiatan yang mengutamakan akses server tentunya server harus dapat diakses dengan lancar tanpa ada hambatan. Dengan menggunakan salah satu teknologi yaitu high availability yang menjadi solusi permasalahan ketika server mengalami failure/fail. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan oleh penulis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan menguji implementasi high availability pada kontainer yang berisi aplikasi storage server yaitu owncloud. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah laporan hasil pengujian implementasi dengan menggunakan tools docker swarm dengan algoritma round robin. Pada pengujian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian terapan dan simulasi terhadap server yang dikonfigurasi docker swarm. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu teknologi high-availability container dengan dengan docker swarm menjadikan storage server dapat diakses tanpa ada gangguan dan hambatan. ********************************************************************** With the growth of the technology and information as well much activity prioritize accessing to the server it means server should can be accessed without any obstacle. With using one of the technology namely high availability which can give a solution to the problem where and whenever server failure occur. This research was conducted by authors aimed to analyze and test the implementation of high availability technology on container containing owncloud storage server. The results of this study are reports on the results of implementation testing using docker swarm tools with round robin algorithm. The testing in this study using an applied research approach and simulation of servers that is configured docker swarm. The conclusion of this study is the high-availability container technology with docker swarm makes the storage server accessible without interruptions and zero down time.
