Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kabupaten Karimun. Pada penelitian ini yang menjadi variabel independen adalah kesadaran emosional diri, rasa percaya diri, kontrol emosi, pencapaian, pengembangan diri, dan konflik manajemen, variabel dependen adalah kinerja guru Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada guru 230 eksemplar pada guru sekolah menengah atas di Kabupaten Karimun, 5 eksemplar kuesioner tidak kembali, dan 5 kuesioner tidak lengkap dan data yang diolah sebnyak 220 eksemplar kuiesioner. Hal ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh antara variabel satu dengan yang lain. Data di olah dengan statistik SPPS Ver 22. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel kesadaran emosional diri, kontrol emosi diri, pencapaian, pengembangan diri, dan konflik manajemen memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Kabupaten Karimun. Pada variabel rasa percaya diri hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan. Hasil analisis menggunakan coefesien determinasi diketahui bahwa 65,9% persen dipengaruhi oleh kesadaran emosional diri, rasa percaya diri, kontrol emosi, pencapaian, pengembangan diri, dan konflik manajemen terhadap kinerja guru, sisanya dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar model. ********************************************************************** The aim of this study to examine the effect of Emotion Self Awareness, Self Confidence, Emotional Self Control, Achievement, Developing Other, Conflict management on the performance of high school teachers in Karimun District. The independent variables are emotional intelligence (Emotion Self Awareness, Self Confidence, Emotional Self Control, Achievement, Developing Other, Conflict management, the dependent variable is the performance of high school (SMA) teachers. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of 230 copies of high school teachers in Karimun District, 5 copies of non-return questionnaires, and 5 incomplete questionnaires, and 220 copies of questionnaire were processed. This is done to see the influence between variables with each other. Data is processed with SPPS Ver 22 statistics. The results of the analysis show that the variables of self-emotional awareness, self-control, achievement, self-development, and conflict management have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance in Karimun District. In the variables of self-confidence the results of the study showed that there were positive and insignificant influences. The results of the analysis using the determination coefficients note that 65.9% percent is influenced by Emotion Self Awareness, Self Confidence, Emotional Self Control, Achievement, Developing Other, Conflict management and the rest is explained by other factors outside the model
