Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel independen seperti attitude, environmental concern, personal norms, dan willingness to pay terhadap variabel dependen seperti green purchase intention dari masyarakat, khususnya di kota Batam. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat di kota Batam yang memiliki niat untuk membeli produk botol ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data langsung untuk mengumpulkan sampel atau disebut sebagai data primer karena data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan kuisioner secara langsung. Regresi linier berganda digunakan untuk menganalisa data dalam penelitian ini. Sebanyak 384 responden masyarakat di kota Batam yang digunakan sebagai data sampel pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menyajikan hasil uji variabel independen yaitu attitude yang berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap green purchase intention pada masyarakat di kota Batam. Adapun variabel independen lain seperti environmental concern, personal norms, dan willingness to pay menunjukkan hasil yang tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap green purchase intention pada masyarakat di kota Batam. ********************************************************************** This study aims to find out the significant relationship between independent variable such as attitude, environmental concern, personal norms, and willingness to pay toward dependent variable like green purchase intention from a society, especially in Batam. The object in this study is a society in Batam whom have an intention to purchase eco-friendly bottle product. This study used a direct data to collect sample or being called as primary data because the data in this study was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly. Multiple liner regression was used to analysis the data in this study. There was 384 respondent in Batam being used as data sample in this study. This study presents the result of the independent variable test like attitude was positively significant towards green purchase intention in Batam society. As for other independent such as environmental concern, personal norms, and willingness to pay shows insignificant result towards green purchase intention in Batam society.
