Abstract

Penelitian yang diterapkan merupakan keinginan untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel kinerja karyawan yang dipengaruhi oleh variabel Rekruitmen dan Seleksi, Pelatihan dan Pengembangan, Penilaian kinerja dan Kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di beberapa hotel berbintang 4 (empat) di kecamatan Lubuk Baja kota Batam. Proses penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui metode survei untuk menyelidiki kuesioner yang dikirimkan kepada 321 karyawan Hotel berbintang empat di kecamatan Lubuk Baja kota Batam. Hasil kuesioner tersebut kemudian diolah menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil dari pengolahan data dari program SPSS telah menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan positif antara variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Konklusi hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa peran pelatihan dan pengembangan, penilaian kinerja dan kompensasi memiliki dampak positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, namun sebaliknya dengan rekruitmen dan seleksi yang tidak memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. ********************************************************************** Research that has been done was the desire to acquire the knowledge of the relation of the variable employee performance that was affected by recruitment & selection, training & development, performance appraisal and compensation from the employees of four stars hotel in Lubuk Baja sub-district in Bacam City. The process of this research was done by survey as a method used to distribute the questionnaires that sent to 321 employees among the four stars hotel in kecamatan Lubuk Baja Batam City. The returning questionnaires were computed using the program SPSS. The result done by the program SPSS shown that there are some significant positive and not significant positive related from the variables. To conclude on this research indicate that the variable training & development, performance appraisal and compensation have a significant correlation with employee performance, on the other hand for recruitment & selection has no significant effect with employee performance.
