Abstract
Riset ini dilaksanakan guna untuk menganalisis hal-hal yang dapat mempengaruhi investment decision. Faktor tersebut antara lain ialah accounting information, advocate recommendation, neutral information, firm’s image, dan personal financial needs. Investor saham di Kota Batam diambil sebagai objek pada penelitian ini. Sampel yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini berjumlah 254 data. Data primer digunakan sebagai data pada penelitian ini dengan metode pembagian kuesioner kepada objek penelitian. Penganalisa penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel advocate recommendation, neutral information, firm’s image, dan personal financial needs memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap investment decision. Sementara itu, variabel accounting information berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel investment decision. ********************************************************************** This research was conducted to analyze the relationship of factors that can affect investment decisions. These factors include accounting information, advocacy recommendation, neutral information, firm image, and personal financial needs. Batam City stock investors are the object of this research. The sample collected in this study are 254 samples. This research data uses primary data with a method of distributing questionnaires to the object of research. This research analyzer uses SPSS. The results show that significant positive effect on the investment decision is affected by advocate recommendation, neutral information, firm image, and personal financial needs. Meanwhile, the accounting information variable does not have a significant effect on the investment decision variable.
