Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuktikan pengaruh dari leadership style, empowerment, dan organizational commitment terhadap perilaku organization citizenship behaviour karyawan di bidang perhotelan Batam. Sampel penelitian ini mengambil karyawan yang bekerja di hotel bintang dua dan tiga di Kota Batam. Sebanyak 400 responden dibagikan di ruang lingkup perusahaan dan hanya 333 hasil responden yang bisa digunakan untuk penelitian ini. Metode pemilihan sampel ini menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling, Teknik Purposive merupakan teknik penentuan dengan pertimbangan tertentu yang artinya penentuan subjek ini berdasarkan pada ciri-ciri tertentu yang dipandang memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan ciri-ciri populasi yang telah diketahui sebelumnya, lalu disesuaikan dengan kriteria-kriteria yang diterapkan berdasarkan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini terbukti mendapatkan signifikan pengaruh positif dari leadership style terhadap perilaku OCB karyawan, dan hasil lainnya seperti empowerment dan organizational commitment juga berpengaruh positif terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). ********************************************************************** This research was conducted in order to prove the influence of leadership style, empowerment, and organizational commitment on the behavior of organization citizenship behavior of employees in the hospitality sector in Batam. The sample of this study is employees who work in hotel companies in the city of Batam. A total of 400 respondents were distributed in the scope of the company and only 333 respondents could be used for this study. This sample selection method uses Purposive techniques, Purposive technique is a determination technique with certain considerations which means the determination of this subject is based on certain characteristics that are considered to have a close relationship with the characteristics of the population that has been known before, then adjusted to the criteria applied based on the objectives of the study . The results from this study was proved to have a positive influence from leadership style, empowerment, and organizational commitment on employee organizational citizenship behavior.
