Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui 5 faktor yang akan memiliki pengaruh terhadap keputusan investasi seorang investor saham. Adapun variabel independen yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu accounting information, neutral information, firm image, broker recommendation, dan loss aversion. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan cara membagikan kuesioner kepada 430 responden di kota Batam. Responden yang dijadikan sebagai sampel diteliti dengan memanfaatkan metode slovin. Hasil dari data penelitian kemudian diolah menggunakan analisis regresi berganda (multiple regression). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu accounting information, neutral information, firm image, loss aversion, dan broker recommendation memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap keputusan investasi saham. ********************************************************************** The aim of this study was to test the effect of 5 variables that affect the investors in making investment decision. The independent variables which used on this study are accounting information, neutral information, firm image, broker recommendation, and loss aversion. This study implemented by distributing questionnaire to 430 respondents in the Batam city. Number of respondents which used as samples for this study obtained from the Slovin method. The results of the research data then processed by using the multiple regression analysis. The results of this study showed that accounting information, neutral information, firm image, loss aversion, and broker recommendation have a significantly positive effect towards stock investment decision.
