Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman wisata terhadap intensi berkunjung kembali wisatawan mancanegara ke Kota Batam. variabel yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini berupa citra negara, citra destinasi, pengalaman wisata dan intensi berkunjung kembali. Populasi dari penelitian ini merupakan wisatawan mancanegara yang pernah mengunjungi Kota Batam. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu wisatawan yang sering mengunjungi Kota Batam yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode snowball sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi berganda. Hasil dari penelitian menyatakan bahwa citra negara memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap citra destinasi, citra negara dan citra destinasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap pengalaman wisata dan pengalaman wisata memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap intensi berkunjung kembali. ********************************************************************** Purpose of this study is to determine the effect of tourist experience on the intention of foreign tourists to revisit Batam City. Variables that used in this study are in the form of country's image, destination image, tourism experience and revisit intention. The populations in this research were foreign tourists who have visited Batam City. The sample that used in this research were the frequent tourists that visited Batam, moreover, the sample are selected by using the snowball sampling method. This study was tested using multiple regressions. Study results show that the country image has a significantly positive effect on the destination image, furthermore, country's image and destination image also have a significantly positive effect on the tourism experience and lastly, the tourism experience also has a significantly positive effect on the revisit intention.
