Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meneliti hubungan dan pengaruh variabel kepuasan kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada karyawan perusahaan galangan kapal yang beroperasi di Batam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 120 responden yang berisi pertanyaan berkaitan dengan kepuasan kerja, pelatihan kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Setelah penyebaran kuesioner selesai maka dikumpulkan kembali untuk tabulasi dan pengolahan data, penulis berhasil mendapatkan 117 kuesioner yang sudah diisi dengan lengkap, selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian dengan menggunakan SPSS. Dari olah data berhasil didapatkan kesimpulan penelitian bahwa variabel kepuasan kerja dan pelatihan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini juga penulis membuat rekomendasi bagi manajemen perusahaan galangan kapal agar perusahaan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan karyawan dan penyesuaian pekerjaan dengan keahlian dan keterampilannya serta memberikan pelatihan yang memadai berkaitan dengan pekerjaan yang dilakukan karyawandi perusahaan tersebut. ********************************************************************** This research was conducted to examine the relationship and influence of job satisfaction and job training variables on employee performance on employees of shipyard companies operating in Batam. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents which contained questions related to job satisfaction, job training and employee performance. After the questionnaire was finished, it was collected again for tabulation and data processing, the author managed to get 117 questionnaires that were filled in completely, then tested using SPSS. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the variables of job satisfaction and job training have a significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of this study the authors also make recommendations for the management of shipyard companies so that companies can increase employee job satisfaction by meeting the needs of employees and adjusting their work with their skills and skills and providing adequate training related to the work done by the company.
