Abstract

Perkembangan Kota Batam sangat meningkat dikarenakan mempunyai letak geografis yang strategis karena berdekatan dengan negara Singapura dan Malaysia. Salah satu pendatang yang paling banyak berdatangan ke Kota Batam adalah wisatawan negara Singapura maka banyak perusahaan kapal feri yang menyediakan jasa transportasi dengan rute perjalanan dari Batam ke Singapura dan Batam ke Malaysia. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan kuesioner dan disebarkan ke karyawan perusahaan kapal feri di Kota Batam dan didukung oleh beberapa faktor yaitu dengan gaji, imbalan dan insentif, kompensasi tidak langsung, pelatihan dan pengembangan, rekrutmen dan seleksi, lingkungan kerja, penilaian kinerja yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Pengukuran sampel dilakukan pada penelitian ini berupa penyebaran kuesioner terhadap 280 karyawan perusahaan kapal feri. Kuesioner yang kembali kemudian diolah menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda. Hasil yang didapatkan melalui pengujian hipotesis pada faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen. ********************************************************************** The development of Batam City has improved due to its strategic geographic location as the location is near to Singapore and Malaysia. Most of the tourists that come to Batam City are mostly from Singapore. Because of this situation, many of the ferry transportation companies provide travel routes from Batam to Singapore, and Batam to Malaysia. The research sample was taken by questionnaire and distributed to employees of passenger ship transportation companies in Batam City and supported by several factors, namely salary, rewards and incentives, indirect compensation, training and development, recruitment and selection, work environment, performance assessment that can improve employee performance. Sample measuring from this research by giving questionnaire to 280 employee from ferry shipping company. Then returned questionnaire will be processed by application call SPSS. The hypothesis results in this study, independent variables are impacting significantly to the dependent variable.
