Abstract
Lembaga International Relation Office membantu mengurus dokumen legal dan visa yang terkait ijin tinggal civitas akademika Universitas Internasional Batam selama di negara tujuan. Dalam penelitian ini akan mengembangkan aplikasi dokumen yang dapat mengelola dokumen dengan cepat dan memberikan informasi mengenai progress dokumen yang sedang berjalan kepada pihak Direktorat dan Prodi. Sistem aplikasi dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode RAD (Rapid Application Revelopment) yang merupakan pendekatan berorientasi objek untuk menghasilkan suatu sistem dalam waktu singkat. Tahapan dalam perancangan sistem terdiri dari tahap perencanaan kebutuhan, tahap desain sistem dan tahap implementasi. Hasil dari penelitian berupa aplikasi dokumen IRO yang memiliki fitur Upload, Download, dan progress dokumen. Mahasiswa dapat mengupload dokumen lewat aplikasi ini, sedangkan staff IRO dapat mengunduh dokumen mahasiswa dan mengupdate status dokumen. ********************************************************************** The International Relation Office helps arrange legal and visa documents related to the residence permits of the Batam International University student while in the destination country. In this research will develop a document application that can manage documents quickly and provide information about the progress of ongoing documents to the Directorate and Study Program. The application system was developed using RAD (Rapid Application Development) method which is an object oriented approach to produce a system in short time. The stages in the design system consist of the fase requirements planning, design workshop and implementation. The result of this reserach is the International Relation Office document application that has the features of upload, download and document progress. Students can upload document through this application, while staff can download the document and update document status.
